Vassiliki Mandalou, Greece, International Secretary General of the 22nd World Congress of Poets, gave a talk on "Reading, Criticism and Interpretation of a Contemporary Literary Work."
Michael Kwaku Kesse Somuah, Ghana, read at the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa. He also won the Kolastis Palamas Award for exceptional Poetry.
Panayota Christopoulou-Zaloni, L.W.L., Greece, part of the international organizing committee received many awards and read at the Amphitheater during the Mediterranean Poetry Festival Night and received many awards.
Sonja Manojlovic, Croatia, received honors for her poetry
Colette Mart, Luxemburg, read her poetry at the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa and also won many awards for her poetry
Gisela Kopp, Germany, read her poetry on Stomio Beach and at the Alkazar Park in Larissa. She also presented her paper at the podium on the second night of the 22 WCP titled "The Rythm of Life." To read this paper, go to her page listed under "Poetry in German" of this website
Aya Yuki of Japan read at the theater in the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa. She also received an award for her exceptional poetry
Argyris Marneros, Greece, read in the Main Hall of the Larissa Imperirial Classical Hotel.
Dulcie Levene, L.W.L. England, read at the theater of the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa in the G.I. Katsigras Museum. She also won awards for her exceptionl poetry.
Jiang Gengyu of China read at the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa and won an award for his exceptional poetry
Puntalee (Noi) Jirathun, L.W.L, Thailand, read in the Alkazar Park in Larissa. She was President of the 2002 WCP held in Thailand. She receive high awards for her poetry.
Kay Renz, USA, read in Alkazar Park in downtown Larissa. She also received recognition for her poetry.
Suparna Ghosh from Canada and India read on the Stomio Beach and received recognition for her excellant poety.
Rhodora Maganito, USA and Philippines, read in the theater of the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa and received an award for her exceptional poetry
Rex Valentine, L.M.L., USA, UPLI VP NW USA, read on the beach at Stomio and in the Alkazar Park in downtown Larissa. He also received awards for his excellent poetry
Worot (Nat) Nontree, Thailand, was a smash hit with his traditional Thai poetry and clothing. He performed in the theater of the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa and received recognition for his poetry and participation.
