PRIZES AND AWARDS

Four golden laurel crowns were given during the 23rd World Congress of Poets in Osaka, Japan.

Poet and UPLI President Virgilio (Gil) Yuzon, Philippines, thanks UPLI Executionve Vice President Wanda Rider for the golden laurel crown. He was crowned by his daughter, Bianca. His sister-in-law, Pilar Yuzon also officiated. He is now a poet, Laureate Man of Letters.

Professor Noriko Mizusaki, Japan, 23rd President of the World Congress of Poets, held in Osaka, Japan, receives her golden laurel crown from Execcutive Vice President Wanda Rider. Noriko is now a poet, Laureate Woman of Letters.

Marie Palazzolo, USA, receives her golden laurel crown with certification as being now a poet, Laureate Woman of Letters.

Miss Haruka Niiya, Japan, Muse of the Osaka Congress, graciously accepts her golden crown.
