 HOW TO JOIN THE UNITED POETS LAUREATE INTERNATIONAL

Membership in UPLI is by application and referral. Board members and regular members may refer new members.  

There are two ways to apply:
A. Via downloading the hard copy of the application form 
B: Online form submission.

A.  Application using the hard copy form:

1.

2.
In the new window where the document is, click on Save a Copy found at the bottom of the screen.
3.
Print the form and fill up the required fields.
4.
Submit the completed application form together with the following requirements:
    •
Samples of your poetry
    •
2" x 2" photo
5.
Mail your application requirements to:

The UPLI Board will review your application, and notify you about your application status.
Upon Approval of your membership, instructions will also be sent on how to remit the US $25 annual dues to UPLI.

The UPLI Board will review your application, and notify you about your application status.

NOTE: We rarely refuse a member application. If we refuse your application, your packet, including the $25 will be returned. We do not accept poetry or poets that advocate hatred, violence, dissention, or general negativity. We do accept poets who write to better our world for everyone. When the board reviews your application, you can be assured of complete objectivity.
