| Denis Koulentianos was born 7 June, 1935 in Piraeus, Greece. He is a journalist, writer, poet. Married to Toula Conomos, he has two sons. He was educated at College St. Paul, Piraeus and obtained a certificate in Philosophy in 1962. He attended postgraduate Center of Public Relations, Athens, 1967. Publications include Lyric Agonies, 1956; Thus Jesus Spoke, 1959; Bowing, 1962; The Bridge, 1965; D.K: An Anthology, 1972; Aphorisms, 1976; Essence, 1979; In the Zodiac of Twins, 1981; Kytherian Yearnings, 1987; Violets and Stilettos, 1989; Pictures, 1992; My Debt to Poetry, 1994; Greek Smiles, 1996, For Africa With Love, 2000, and Anthology of World Love, 2002. He has also contributed to many anthologies and periodicles and has received many national and international poetry awards. He is a member of International Poets Academy, Panhellenic Union of Writers; Society of Kytherian Studies, United Poets Laureate International for which he is an honorary vice president.
