I, WHO SPEAK

by Rhodora Maganito

I who speak to you, am He,
In the silence of your heart,
In the warmth of the sun, the gentle
Breeze and fragrant blossoms,
The sea with its ebb and flow.

I who speak to you, am He,
In the loving touch of a selfless soul
Caring and embracing your essence,
Faithfully tending and nurturing
With true love and tenderness.

I who speak to you, am He,
Guarding you with my protective arms,
Interceding with sighs too deep for words
When the tempest's wrath overwhelms
And you feel so alone, lost, and helpless.

I who speak to you, am He
The manna-filled morning and the water-flowing rock,
The word and the bread of life, this light of yours,
The Alpha and the Omega, I am He,
Be still, I have called you, and you are mine.
