2023 YEAR END AND
FINAL EDITION OF LAUREL LEAVES

Welcome to the December 2023 and final issue of Laurel Leaves, the digital poetry magazine of UPLI published monthly in this website. For this edition, we asked every UPLI member to submit one poem of his/her choice on any subject, and if possible, on UPLI’s perennial themes of universal understanding, peace and brotherhood.

Included below are the poems of 43 UPLI members, many of whom have been multiple Poet of the Month honorees through the years. We hope poetry lovers will enjoy reading their excellent poetry in this final issue of Laurel Leaves, which will be an integral part of UPLI’s legacy in years to come.

The UPLI website will remain active indefinitely so that the vast poetry output of UPLI members in its Poet of the Month and Laurel Leaves sections will continue to be available for the appreciation of readers of poetry everywhere.

To all our beloved UPLI colleagues, may the love of poetry remain ever strong in our hearts.
